Pop-ups, post-its, strings on our fingers, and endless numerated red dots on our apps testify that we are forgetful. And our forgetfulness is no less likely when the event, date, or responsibility is critically important. Though the consequences are often much greater.

The Bible cautions us to ‘remember.’ It is easy to forget what God has done for us and what He has made us. But God is gracious to remind. In his second letter, the Apostle Peter writes to remind believers to remember all that they have been given and called to be in Christ.
